✦ faq ✦

SPECS  What are the zine specs?
• Digital zine and digital merchandise
• 1.5k to 3k words per fic
• For-charity — All proceeds will go to Zebra Youth
The prices listed in the interest check are too high.
We will leave the interest check as is for now, but we will talk about logistics when it closes and tweak it realistically. We do appreciate your input about that.
If this is fully digital, will it be made as a PDF or in another format?
The final zine will be in PDF format and will include alt text. We also hope to feature podfic readers to make it more accessible.
CONTRIBUTORS  How many contributors will you accept?
We hope to feature 30 artists and around 10-15 writers.
Can I apply for several positions?
Yes, but you may only be accepted for one position, depending on the number of applicants.
Would you consider having podficcers?
We will be looking for podfic readers for this project.
Will contributors receive the zine?
Yes! All contributors will receive a digital copy of the zine and its merch. Please note that the zine is digital-only, so all compensation will remain digital!
How will I find out if I had been accepted?
We'll email all our applicants on August 14th, regardless of if they got in or not!
For those that are writing what is our word count? Is it okay if we go a little bit over the word count?
We'd prefer to keep works under 3k if possible, though if the plot requires it, you may be allowed to go a little bit over it!
Are artists allowed to contribute a 2nd piece, especially if it's for characters that have not been selected?
As long as you can finish your first piece, feel free to contribute with a second piece!
CONTENT  What is the rating of this zine?
This will be a PG-13 zine that will include violence and blood complacent to the games.
Are AUs allowed?
Yes.
Are ships allowed?
They may be allowed depending on the context.
Are trans headcanons allowed?
Yes, that's fine.
Will old archers in the franchise be featured as well?
The goal of this zine is to give all archers representation. As much as we love the popular characters, we do want to give the characters from the older games and lesser known archers some love as well.
Will you release a list of characters?
Our official list of archers is now available here!
Will secondary/reclassed bow users be allowed?
Although we’d like to focus on the main bow users, the inclusion of secondary/reclassed bow users may be allowed!
Will the different games be separated, or will mix-ups be allowed?
Mix-ups will be welcome!
